The use of information technologies (IT) has become a critical element for increasing competitiveness, enhancing jobs creation and innovation. Information technologies represent a highly dynamic sector in constant growth.

 

FUMEC has strong interactions with IT businesses through TechBA and SATE. In our TechBA program, a little more than 50% of the 633 businesses that it assists work directly in IT in the fields of solutions, outsourcing, biometry, software as a service, software for mobile applications, business intelligence, embedded software and telecommunications.

 

Similarly, the SATE program has assisted more than 100 businesses from this sector in Distrito Federal, Nuevo León, Baja California, Sonora and Estado de México in order to strengthen them and to facilitate its international acceleration. IT companies also participate in our microsystems program.

 

In addition, during the past years, FUMEC has undertaken studies that allow identification of strategic niches, describe and link them to existing capacities in Mexico with the intent of being more specific in acceleration strategies to be implemented.
