Austin, TX, July the 1st, 2010.- U.S. and Mexican entrepreneurs of the technological sector will met next July 8th in the  city of Austin, Texas, with the purpose to generate commercial opportunities and promote Mexican innovations on the TechBA Expo event, organized by the TechBA Austin business accelerator and the University of Texas’ IC2 Institute.

More than 25 Mexican technology based firms will present several innovative proposals related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), as well as solutions for the automotive sector, clean energies and nanotechnology.

Distinguished officers from government will attend the event, as well as other important figures such as the State Secretary of Texas, Esperanza “Hope” Andrade, the Mexico’s General Council, Rosalba Ojeda, the CEO of TechBA International, Raúl Lucido and the CEO of TechBA Austin, Luis Medina.

“This initiative seeks to strengthen the commercial trade between U.S. and Mexican and companies and be the contact point among entrepreneurs, investors and high technology business men. For this year we expect to have more than 300 attendants”, says Medina.

Recently, Forbes ranked Austin as the second most innovative place of the U.S. This city is ideal for companies that seek to become global because it counts with high entrepreneurial spirit and several leading clusters on software, semiconductors, wireless technology and sustainable energies.

TechBA Austin has more than five years serving about 170 Mexican companies, 411 of which have opened up corporate offices in Austin and have generated more than 38 million dollars in commercial transactions.

The companies IDZ, Loyalty3 and Xemble are a good example of the TechBA effect. IDZ is a provider of RFID technology solutions for the aerospace sector and since 2007 has multiplied its sales by 600 per cent. Loyalty3 is a provider of loyalty programs and it has increased its employment in 90% in the last three years. Finally, Xemble is a systems integrator company that has signed eight contracts this year, doubling the sales that it had last year.
